Magrath Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
Are you planning to attend the MLCAPBF = Magrath Lions Club Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser? Early Saturday 28 July 2007 from 7:00-9:00 AM, before the town parade. Note the NEW LOCATION this year .. now at the Magrath Seniors Center (north of the Library). Only $6 per person or $3 children under 8. They are also looking for helpers from the town. It is a great way to 'serve' the town.
The Magrath Lions Club got it's original charter in May 1938 so they are now in their 69th year! Bringing new meaning to their motto .. We Serve (Pancakes).
Notes from the Lions Club: "Things are starting to shape up for our breakfast this year. We have booked the Magrath Seniors Center and Town BBQ. Have prepared updated advertising and started calling around for volunteer crews. We will need crew bosses and helpers for Pancakes, Eggs, Sausages, Potato Patties, Juice/Coffee, Kitchen/Serving, Butter/Syrup/Tables, Cleanup. A big project, I know, but it is always a great event. Thanks to all for supporting us. 1 month to go to the 28th of July!"
