Proud and blessed husband and father of 3. Have grown weary of big city life and look forward to a change. We are a big 4H family (llama and rabbit) and might try horse 4H after the move. While we and our current business are a big part of the Maple Ridge community, we look forward to having the same experience in a more tight knit slower paced setting.
One interesting fact: My Grandparents were Del and Kate Fox. Original owners of the Fox theatre in Pincher Creek. It was My mother and aunt who suggested we look at southern Alberta as we searched for a new business in a small town.

Looking forward to creating many with my family and new friends.

No kids anymore but 4 grandchildren - 2 of whom have been here and did not want to leave.
People, weather, air, space, the town itself - it's a package that we haven't come across anywhere else. Land prices are still reasonable. The peaceful setting - deer, rabbits, etc. running through the fields - it's a storybook.
Lots of things for kids to do from scheduled activities like hockey, etc. to freedom to run and play like we used to in the old days - no parents following you around, watching to make sure nothing happens!
If you want land for horses or llamas, there's a ton of it around here. I would suggest you get in touch with Jim Anderson or Alan Dudley (just google their names - they'll come up). They've lived here forever and are a font of information regarding the Magrath area (plus they have a hand in the real estate game here).
Good luck with your search and I would definitely recommend Magrath.
