- Hi there, I lived with my family for nearly a year in Magrath in 1983-1984. We did an exchange with the Dahl family, they lived in Leeds for a year & we did likewise in Magrath. My Dad, Peter Harper was a teacher at Magrath Elementary. Our family have nothing but fond memories of the town, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by everyone & not many days go by when I don't think about the fantastic year we had.
- Favorite Magrath Memories:
- So many! The stunning countryside, the people, the fish pond, the "jungle jim" (is that still there?), Santa Claus coming to town on his sleigh and many, many more.
